I am hopeful and eccentric
I wonder what the future holds
I hear the rustling of the trees
I see the beauty in things deemed undesirable
I want to make a difference

I pretend that I know what I am doing
I feel uncertain about the present
I touch the tension around me
I worry about the unknown
I cry because of forgotten memories

I understand some things you cannot change
I say that we should all work together
I dream of a better tomorrow
I try to achieve happiness by helping others
