People Are Strange, That's Why They're Called Strangers

This is one of my favorite lines in a song. Because it's so true. We're all a little bit strange. Have you ever been so scared of life that you can't possibly have one? That's how I feel right about now. Unsure, scared, anxious, D all of the above. I used to be so ready for the future and now I just want it all to stop. Why would I want to leave this place where I'll always have someone there for me? No idea.

Lost in the Maze of My Mind

Tonight I am going to a corn maze for the first time since I was younger! Which is kind of terrifying, because I have no sense of direction. And recently there was a story on the news about a young couple having to call 911 after getting lost! I hope that's not me. :(

Fall Festivities

Deep fried oreos..You know what that means!! It's fall festival time! :D Tons of fried food, apple cider, and people galore. I simply can't wait. And fall fest isn't the only thing about fall I'm excited about! There's pumpkin patches, jumping into leaves, haunted houses, corn mazes, and so many more activities! I just love fall, even though I hate what season comes after it. Hurry up fall break:)

I Hate Public Speaking

This picture perfectly depicts the way I feel about public speaking. I'm a complete scaredy cat! But today I was shown a video that made me realize I'm not alone in my utter cowardly nature. This video's message proved to me and the rest of my class we all have a natural fear of talking in front of people. We all get a little weak in our knees, perhaps stutter and stammer through whatever it is we are trying to talk about. We all stay up all night before the speech, partly because we are studying like crazy, and partly because we are too stress and nervous about messing up or something ridiculous. So this means that we should not be afraid anymore! We should band together against this fear, and march right up to the podium with our head held high, because we know we are going to do the best we can do under the circumstances.

This coming Tuesday, September 13th, is a big day for the world of indie music. So many albums are dropping I don't even know what to do with myself!! Das Racist, Neon Indian, CANT, and one of my favorites St. Vincent! And there's more but I can't even think of them I'm so excited. You should check out St. Vinnie's newest single from her upcoming album "Surgeon". I dig it!
